Years back, I bought an SP-101 from a guy that said it was a .22wmr
When I got it, it shot .22wmr round alright, but took a act of Congress to eject the spent Cases
Well, I could see why this guy didn't want it
Looked and looked and finally found a .22lr Cylinder and fit it to the Frame
Shoots .22lrs GREAT .... but I was always thinking of "Why won't the wmr Cases eject ?"
Talked to a few guys and sent it off to Sportsman's Gunsmith Shop, here in Salt Lake
They polished the wmr Cylinder Chambers and reshaped the Forcing Cone
Now it fire and ejects on all cylinders, and I call it my "Super" SP-101
Well, as it turns out; this SP-101 is one of only three that came out of the Ruger Factory as a .22 wmr
    Check-out this post:

Well, I am happy the Revolver works, and it works great, on all 12 Chambers
But I am bummed that I have torched its history
Here's a few pics of it:

Very good it works and you have a keeper there. These are nice and you have a added special feature. Enjoy shooting it and make a good home for it. Love SP101's!!!!
