Just watched a video of a bass boat coming in full throttle at a cabin cruiser circles it a couple times then goes full throttle straight at the stern.
Bass boat goes part way up almost hitting the lady filming then slides back off he flips the bird n takes off again.
My question is do you think if you have your ccw on you fire a war shot when you realize what he is going to do the defend as he hits or just blow it off?

Just blow it off, followed by cleaning the deck under me.

I would not fire a warning shot, or even expose my ccw (who knows, the nut might have a 12 ga aboard...)
I would call 911 immediately after the incident, and give the best description of the driver and boat that I could.

ID'ing by registration # should be as good as a license #.....would be pretty easy to obtain while soiling my breeches and the deck.

I saw on the news that they caught the guy. Charged with aggravated assault and property damage I think.

I saw many things in my Coast Guard years. Our general understanding was that putting a civilian in a boat lowers the IQ by about 50 points. Double that if its a holiday.
