    Thanks. This the first firearm I have noticed that the serial number is on the upper and not the lower.

    Well, it's actually on the receiver, same as many other firearms have it. Like bolt action barreled receivers do.

    Steven, you have a very envious array of Ruger Mark IV magazines. Have you seen my post here on how to smooth those magazines out so they work so smoothly that you will never have pause about buying the BEST magazines ever?

    Got a question for you Dennis,was changing barrels on my Mk 4 couldn't get to parts to merge noticed receiver frame screw had backed out bout half way,would a little lock-tite be a good idea,put bout 800 rds thru both barrels,really happy with setup

    Oh, for sure! You most likely already know to clean the threads first with a spray of parts and brake cleaner to remove any residual oil first before applying the Loc-Tite.
    How is that rubber buffer holding up? I just received a whole passel of Mark IV parts from Ruger and they included a couple of those little buffers. I have my own version to replace that part and from at least one of the "beta" testers I sent a few to, one contacted me two days ago stating that his is holding up just fine. Haven't heard from the others, so I learned something there. As time allows, I'll make more of those.

    Yes a little brake parts cleaner,didn't receivea rubber buffer other than the rubber bolt stops in my Chargers
