Found some time to go burn a box of Seller & Bellot FMJ (~$12/bx.) through the RAC-9. I love shooting this pistol. The weight of the firearm felt great in my hand and was very controllable. I use the small back strap because I have big palms, but short fingers. Ate up 50 rounds real quick with no misfires. Good fun. I also ran 24 rounds through the LCP II. No misfires, but a lot more muzzle flip. Still a great little gun.

The RAC-9 is appealing. It would be great if they made it in 10mm. Comparing the difference with the SR9C would not benefit me personally. But what is a common post is the fact that the LCP ll has more muzzle flip. I can understand why this would be the case with the dynamics of the new slide, but the trade off between the Gen ll and the benefits of the new model would not be worth it for me. Ruger in my opinion should have done more for the refinements of the LCP. Maybe adding a few ounces near the front of the barrel etc.

Thanks for the range report. The RAC-9 seems like a real winner, and we need to hear more about this fine pistol.

The new RAP C sounds much better than my old RAP 9mm Pro.

I'm eager to get my hands on one.

My RAC-9 has run flawlessly for about a year now. Eats all brands of FMJ. I shoot all my carry ammo once a year and start with new fresh Hornady FTX. Here are results of slow fire at 7 yards using two hand grip and resting forearms on a rest. Not bad for a 76 1/2 year old.

Have had my RAP 9mm Pro for about 2 years now as well and love it. Took a while to get the backstrap size set but finally figured out that the medium one was perfect. I have large hands but I shoot the gun better with more finger on the trigger. The larger backstrap left my finger tip pad on the trigger and I just wasn't comfy with the results till I got more finger on the trigger then results started to be more consistent. I have an Officers model 9mm compact 1911 that takes the place of a RAP compact.

But for compact fun, the P93DAO wins hands down. But I am stubborn about those P guns.

Sorry, got away from the original theme of this thread. Get carried away sometimes.
