Ruger replaced the barrel and slide to make my extractor problem go away and it worked. I cleaned it and then militec1 lubes it and headed for the range.

50 rounds of Federal FMJ and four rounds of Lehigh Defense Xtreme Defense in the center mass.

Gun running well. Shots landing slightly left till I get some more practice time. Oh yeah, gotta paint the front site and top of the hammer.

Very good news from you on the first range test. Glad to here Ruger has you back to the range. Did they say anything else about the extractor issue? Just curious. Good luck with the 380 and enjoy it. I like that EasyShotTarget by the way.

Thanks for sharing your range report with us, and it looks like Ruger fixed the issue you where having with it.

I have heard that Ruger is replacing slides and barrels with anyone sending a gun back for extractor issues. My guess is a tolerance problem among the slide, plunger, extractor and barrel. The LCP extractor is very short in length.

My neighbor has been following your adventure with me. He is not a member but a great old timer Ruger fan with some extractor issues. He has called Ruger and they are going take a look at his 380 and I bet they do the same with his LCP. Thanks for posting your data. Be safe and have a great day!
