Welcome to the forum nomas21! Please explain your slide racking procedure as there is only one way to properly rack the slide on a LCP. Den

    Welcome from northwest Louisiana!
Have you fired this pistol at the range since you got it back from Ruger?

Welcome to the forum from Oregon! Try a different brand of ammo. I had problems with Remington UNC ammo in a couple of guns.

Greetings. Welcome to "The Elsie Pea Forum"...Get some good ammo and take some time to practice with the LCP. Let someone that shoots regularly try it.

Nope, wrong way in my opinion. Ruger and most shooters here will suggest that you tightly pinch the back of the slide and pull it back so far as to actually loose your grip on the slide when you reach the end of its travel. We call it the slingshot method. This method has helped many LCP shooters through the years. Denny

I agree that you should take it to the range and see how it runs.
Also try a different mag. Does this happen only when the mag if full?
And yes, as Denny mentioned, sling shot the slide.
