I shot over 200 rounds of federal 36 gr and Aquila 40 gr and the first 2 mags were great then almost every mag had at least one failure to feed one mag had 3 FTF
and occasionally the the slide would lock back with rounds in the mag. No light strikes once in the barrel went boom. I will be sending it back. Hope you have better luck it is a fun gun to shoot when it works.

Thanks for sharing. I cleaned and lubed my LCPII 22LR and plan to use Mini-Mags. Too bad about the Federal and Aquila. I use both and have plenty others to try as well.
*Too bad you had issues. Did you clean and lubed it before you went to test fire? Just curious.

    Welcome from Northern Utah
Check to see that you Follower is running cleanly up and down in the Mag Tube, no grittiness
Also, check if your Slide glides over the Rails and Barrel
Remove the Recoil Spring and the Slide should glide smoothly, back and forth under its own weight, when you rock the Pistol forward and back
