I've had a pair of LCRs since they came out & still carry them. Both 38. Thought I would try an LCRX. What a great single-action trigger! I dry fired it with Snap Caps. Can't wait to take it to the range. I got the 2". Sister-in-law wants to try it. She's tried several semi-autos & gets too many limp wrist failures so she's looking at revolvers & getting her carry license.
Congrats on the new LCRx. We have a LCRx in 22LR and love it. I have a S&W 642 and would love to get a 38 version of the Ruger LCRx. I think you are really going to like the DA/SA version of the LCR. Good luck.
I just got a 2nd LCRX, this one is 3". What a difference that 1" makes. And the longer grip. I compared my LCR, LCRX 2" & LCRX 3". 5 shots at 7 yards. LCRX 2" groups were a little tighter because I shot single action. The LCRX 3" surprised me. Groups were MUCH tighter than either 2". At 10 yards I shot it almost as well as my full size Canik 9mm. I noticed less muzzle flip with the 3" even compared to my LCR which has a 3 finger grip from Pachmayr.
