Ok guys this is just a warning, no heavy trashing of the nra or goa or any other gun organizations. If this continues on this thread you can be suspended or banned forever.

My suggestion is to end the replies to this thread.

My club is a real family oriented range. Many family gathering, Bowling Pin matches, service rifle matches etc. Every summer we support the Boy Scout troops each Saturday. We have a short Pistol/ revolver bern, a 25 and 50 yd as well. On the other side we have a 100 rd rifle, Skeet and Trap. We sponsor many lady days and offer a lot of training. Besides the NRA member ship we require The Virginia Sport Shooting membership as well. We take family, safety and respect of our Country very seriously. Members must attend a safety course that we provide one Saturday a month that last for about 4 hrs, both classroom and on the range.
We have our own key to get through the gates all year around.

Our rules are not for everyone. There are plenty of other ranges a person can join if we are not a good fit for your beliefs, etc.

Love ranges and clubs that include the family and focus on teaching safe shooting skills. Last week at our club they had some kids going through a safety class and it was very nice to see kids and some new shooters going through safety lessons to learn shooting skills. At first I could not figure out what was different but soon knew it was the laughter of kids waiting their turn. The staff and the NRA instructor kept a tight lid on all of them. If you find a good club and it works out for you join it. They are well worth it.
