Must be a location issue as I have been buying quite a lot off CCI recently. I've found it at Sportsmans Warehouse & Dicks in Phoenix and Walmart in Prescott. I was also on the 'notify when available' list from Midway and just got a brick 2 weeks ago. I see it at gun shows & swap meets at slightly higher prices, but no tax. Guy at the local swap meet always has a variety of ammo. I plan on tradeing him 3000 CCI primers for .22 ammo this weekend.

As to the original post, I have one pistol that only likes Thunderbolts & Stingers. Jams with everything else.

Same here, for 22LR ammo, CCI seems to be the only brand that is showing up on the shelves of the local stores. However it has been selling about as fast as they get it in stock.

I have not saw a box of CCI Mini Mags since before Newtown. I bought some CCI from a LGS and was really excited until I got outside and realized it was .22 longs, not long rifle. I will not be buying much CCI in the future. I have found other ammo that operates my semi-autos just fine and I don't have to beg anybody for it.

I have saw it at gun shows at ridiculous prices. I will shoot my .45 acp reloads and let them keep their gold cased CCI Mini Mags.

I don't use Remington Thunderbolt or Winchester X at all. I have tried them but get a lot of light loads out of them. No squibs so far but real close. My Marlin Model 60 does not like them at all. They may do all right in a bolt action or revolver? I use CCI Mini Mags when I can find them or Federal Target and Federal Value Pack. I use the Mini Mags for squirrel and the other two for plinking.

Thunderbolts are the only 22s I've been able to find for awhile at an affordable price. I've been experiencing around a 20% primer failure rate. I'm hoping its just a bad production run. When they do fire they seem to work OK.

Remington Golden Bullets and CCI Mini Mags both gave me misfires in my SR22, but my Ruger 10/22 ate them fine.

I recently got some boxes of Federal American Eagle, and they worked flawlessly in my SR22 yesterday. Maybe this is the brand for my gun, or maybe the gun is breaking in. RGBs were still misfiring in the same gun on the same day.

The Federal American Eagles came in boxes of 40, not 50, so look carefully when shopping/calculating price per round.

Remington Thunderbolt is great if you use it in a bolt action. Other than that it is what it is. Use to get a brick for 9 bucks.

My ruger 10-22 eats it up like double-stack Oreos.

I've had Rem golden bullets run fine through my .22's, but could hear the difference in velocity/power from round to round.
