    I have a Ruger Standard circa 1960. Tried to order Hogue rubber grips for aMKI and was told by Brownell that they would not be compatible. Has anyone tried and been successful with these?

    The screw placement was changed sometime during the production of the standard model and MKI pistols. If the button is on the right side of your magazine, you have the early model frame. Grip screw placement will not be compatible with current grip offerings.
