Ruger is a GREAT company to deal with and they do stand behind their products.

That's great sstark036! And welcome to the forum! Just for fun you may want to call Ruger and ask about who worked on your weapon. Most likely it was an old timer that took great pride repairing your pistol. The ultimate would be to actually talk to him/her. This would not be out of the ordinary with a company like Ruger. Go for it! you will find great Joy talking to the Gunsmith that touched your old Ruger. Denny

In my lifetime, I have never come across any company with such great service. Not for just guns but for any product. As Denny mentioned it was probably some old timer or just the fact that they saw this 30 year old gun and their own Pride kicked in. Bravo to Ruger, hat is off!

A company that stands behind a product 30 years after it left the factory? That's impressive.
