    Ah. Different question. The answer is the same, however. The LCR 38 will NOT fire a 9mm Luger .38 Special is a rimmed cartridge and loads directly into the cylinder either one at a time or with a speed loader. The 9mm is rimless and requires half moon clips to load. They are not compatible.

    Having said that, the LCR is available in 9mm. So if you're looking for a 9mm revolver, Ruger has you covered.
