I need to find a fiberoptic front sight for my 9mm LCR. The 9mm LCR front is .220" tall. The factory sight for the .38/.357 LCR's is .250" and some of the fiber optic sights I've found so far are up to .265" tall.

Does anyone make a fiber optic LCR front around .220" tall so that POI and POA will coincide on the 9mm?

I tried the Hiviz. If yours is a 9mm, I'll bet it shoots VERY low. The Hiviz is the right hieght for .38 or .357. It is .030" too high for the 9mm.

You might try contacting Novak sights and see if they can supply what you need or maybe modify the taller sight yourself. Den

Mine shoots about where I aim....we must have a different sight picture. I'm not a great shot [not even good] but most of my shots would be potentially lethal. I do carry it nearly every day and feel it is the "safest" gun I own. all my carry guns are DAO.

Mine will hold about 3" - 4" at 50 feet. The front sight being too tall pushed the center of the group down about 6". So it could cause me to miss my intended target by as much as 8" at that distance. Under stress it could only get worse.

50 feet is way out of my range. 7 yards is my standard. If I get in a gun battle at 50 feet I'll use hand signals to the bad guy to move closer to me.
