I know Ruger sells boot grips...
I would appreciate feedback/recommendations for grips from fols who pocket carry the LCR.
Thank you
Sorry. I just don't know and don't own a LCR.
There is a thread on here someplace about Rosewood Secret Service grips. That migh help.
Eagle Grips Secret Service.
I think they're helpful for concealment. However, it doesn't help with recoil.
Hogue Boot grips will give great recoil control and not stick to pockets or clothes. Also a more expensive option is the crimson trace laser grip. The LCR disappears with those. I have both and both work great. Hope this helps.
I have the Ruger boot grips (I think they're also made by Hogue) -- much easier to conceal in and draw from a pocket. I've shot non +P .38s out of my LCR .357, and I think that's about all I'll shoot with those grips. Even with a light stipple that I did with a soldering iron, there's not much purchase on the grip.
Yeah, the original tamer grips are just way too big for pocket carry. The boot grips make for a much better pocket carry experience. It is a much more streamlined profile, and even takes away .50 ounces away from the package. They also have the gel insert in the back of the grip for a more enjoyable practice session at the range!
But, if I had the funds, it would be CT lasergrips all the way!
