Show us what the damage looks like. There are often different techniques that are most appropriate for different surfaces and different types of damage to be repaired.

...jck, click "Reply"...write your message...click the "Additional Options" button below the message box. Click the "Browse" button...find your pic on your puter and doubleclick the file. The window will then have the path to the pic. Click "Post" and the pic will post, along with your message.

....can't see it. Depending on what Windows version your are running...you may have a resizer built in...bring up the pic by clicking the file. Right click and see if resize shows up in the menu. If not,
I suggest you take a few minutes and download and install this free program. I use it all the time...it is easy:

The file path you posted is what you will see in the window after the resize...you are good to go once the size is right. The next time it'll be a breeze.

jck, don't worry. There are scratches and there are scratches. Some add "character." Let us see a photo (a sharp one) and we can make recommendations. Sometimes just a bit of touch-up bluing does the job.

59 year old mind? What does that say about my 61 year old cranium? Wait a minute! This isn't the Ford Mustang forum??

trying to send photos but file is to large, don't have Micro Office, can't resize photos.

Oh Well, like you said Kraigster, perhaps a bluing pen, might work,
I must say, when the elsie fell out of my holster, my heart sank for a moment.

    Thanks Tarheel,

Will work on the resizer download at about the speed of a 59yo mind.
