NEW Ruger LCP 7-Shot magazine (LCPEXTMAG-7)

Ruger released info on their Facebook page about this new 7-shot mag. I emailed Ruger to see when they would have them up on their online store. The reply stated that the magazines would be distributed through local gun retailers.
I have called 4 LGS and no one seems to even know about them. I even called a Gander Mountain, which is two hours away. Has anyone else heard or seen anything in regard to these?

My LGS had them 2+ weeks ago. I almost bought one, since the LGS was out of the regular mag, which is what I wanted (and have ordered). I've since decided I should have one of the new mags, as well. Of course, they're out of stock!

Well, maybe they will get them in again soon. I can't even find anyone who has heard about them!

I think its a great option for the range as far as I go, I plan on getting at least one. When I carry my LCP I am wanting major concealment so I wouldn't ust the extended mag for carry. I don't use any pinky extention on it either. But thats just me. YMMV

If I decide to carry a spare mag, it might as well be the extended one. In a sleeve, in your pocket, that one extra round isn't going to make it feel any bigger.

+1 I don't carry an extra mag but if I did it sure would be the 7 rounder.

My guess, and only a guess is the Ruger ones will probably fit up a little more flush thant the Impact ones. I am waiting to see a picture of the Ruger extended mags on the actual gun.
