I'll like to try both of these. I already have the +1 from impactguns on my LC9 and works fine, but the feel of the grip due to the fitting takes time to get used to. I'm sure the Ruger ones will fit much better, the issue will be the pricing.

I'm very interested. I have the impact extender but heard it wasn't healthy for the factory spring.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll be looking for it
I sent them a suggestion a year or two ago about extended mags, I guess they listened.
I am curious why they only went 1 extra round on the mag, the SR#c's jump 7 rounds. I would of thought they would of went at least 10.
I'd like to know how many who don't carry a spare magazine also don't carry a spare tire.
Well, it's a matter of worst case forecast and lifestyle. And, it's probably an evolutionary process, for most. I had been planning on getting a J-frame... "5 rounds are better than 0 rounds." I gravitated to the LCP, with thinner profile, and I'm already 2 rounds ahead. The extra mag is under consideration. A skinny guy has to wonder how much stuff he can carry in the pockets available, etc.
My guess, and only a guess, is that this was made for two purposes. The first is the obvious addition of an extra round. The second is that this will actually be usable in a cc situation, where the big 7+ magazine would not. The most common complaint I hear on the LCP is recoil. Same for the LC9 with the additional complaint of all the safety stuff. Now that I have the LC9, the LCP feels very uncomfortable in my hand. My hope is that the extra round mag from Ruger will give me a more comfortable grip, still be concealable, and look nice too. Time will tell.
I'm with you, BDD; even though I have relatively small hands, I think the LCP 7-round mag will give a little more purchase and still not be so long as to detract from concealment...plus the obvious advantage of one more round.
