    I retired from the PD @ 51 then worked for the Federal Gov't until 59 and pulled the pin for good. I've been fully retired 11 years now and it's been great. In fact, some say I'm doing my best work ever!

    I'm 75 years old now retired from Timken company at 62 I've been a mechanic down at the marina for the last 4 years.

    I'll pass. When I was 48 I was 6 years from getting sober and headed for the worst 6 years of my life. At 72, I'm a far healthier, happier human being than I was at 48. I wouldn't trade what I've got now for what I had back then for all the tea in China . . . even if it meant giving me more years to live than I have now.

    It isn't the time that counts . . . it's how you spend it and who you spend it with.

    I'm not old enough yet to determine if I should carry one in the chamber, if the LCP II is safe, or if the LCP or LCP II will fire if dropped. Looking forward to when I'm old enough to figure those things out.
