Having the Testicle removed at 62 years old was scary because my last operation was when I was 7 years old having my tonsils removed.

Things improved when it was removed (if you know what I mean) because the bad boy was really holding me back, enough said

The scary part of Any health situation is the UNKNOWN.

When my wife was having her chemotherapy she lost her hair and some friends and aquaintance would try to ignore her because they did NOT know how to deal with it or know what to say....please do not hold this against them...go up and ask about their families and their concerns because they do not know how to discuss your problems. Always Be Positive. I have said more today than I have probably said in the past 2 years about our health issues. I have said enough..

bigdog and dave, I enjoy the jokes and I am not offended...you come no where near my wife's jokes

Wow, Saltair, glad you and Mrs. Saltair OK now. I imagine that was a rough transitional period.
My main issue is that I can't chew and I'm a power eater. If I was a car i'd be long and fast but get
    6 MPG doing it.

Thanks for listening to my problems and I want to end my discussion about my problems on a HIGH NOTE.....When my wife REALLY wanted to get my attention she would call me "hey numb nutz" after the operation she called me "numb nut". We both laughed all afternoon and found laughter and being positive is part of the Healing process. Today we are doing fine.

Don't anyone even think that I am going to change my Avatar Name!!

    I am still "saltair"

Thanks Saltair, I'm OK except I've spent enough to buy that 1950s model 27 consignment .357, and it hadn't ended yet.
My face hurts, jaw hurts and I'm eating spaghetti like it's a challenge. Still can't open my mouth

On the plus side, our son is here from The Marines and we're spending some bonding time shooting at the range.
I gave him a Glock 26 for his 21st birth day and he is one happy Marine.
And we're shooting Project Appleseed this weekend where he is going to use his Grandfather's rifle.

Back to my issues, I went yesterday and had my bite guard adjusted and it hasn't helped yet.

MRI of jaw pending, " peer to peer" approval.
Evidently the Dr. has to call an insurance administrator and argue the validity of this test.
I'm going to make some fall apart tender corned beef and cabbage and drink on it this week end.

MRI done and a co-pay of $75. Not to bad but I'm hungry all the time and I'm down from 215 to 203.
