    It still seems like you are missing my point. My point is not that we should stop discussing any of these topics, it's that we should stop turning legitimate discussions into MMA bouts.

    That's not likely to happen, Dave. People feel passionate about their positions. If it weren't for that, we wouldn't need moderators. The trick of course is to STAY ON TOPIC and not take what other say personally. I've participated in a lot of forums and I can tell you from experience that doing those things is easier said than done.

    Yup. Then u have the guys who disagree with everything just for the sake of disagreeing. They're so unique and original and have their own view on things which is the same view of all the other unique and original ones just like them. So much against the grain that they made their own grain, thus, being with the grain. Gotta love em
