    If not for the clear difference [in QC] between the Prescott and Mayodan LCP's, I'd have to disagree with you guys.

    But given I've had both in hand side-by-side, I agree...the smell of fish is in the air.

    I purchased my Elsie @ Gander for $199 just before the LCPII came out. I decided on buying the gun due to the price and still believe I got a good deal and have no plans on buying the new model.

    The ar 556 is made in Mayoden also . It is a Ruger factory.

    These companies get tax breaks for creating jobs in a state. That and reduced labor costs.
