Does anyone know if Ruger has a easy fix for frame pins that do not stay in ? My rearmost one always moves out to the right after only a few rounds. So does my son's.

I have read that the pins are tapered and should be removed from the right side and then installed from the left. Be sure to ask about that.

You do not want to be fooling with the two pins that hold the LCP's sub-frame in place. There are some really tricky things that have to happen just right if you move the sub-frame.

My suggestion is to get Ruger to send a shipping label to you and send the pistol to them for analysis and, if necessary, repair. They will ship it right back to your home. No need to go through a FFL holder.

These guys that install the Hogue grip have to replace the upper rearmost pin.I was thinking I would drive the old out with the new so a pin is always in. This is only possible if the pin is not directional. Maybe some type of locktite .I will see what they say.

Again - please call Ruger's Customer Service and get their help at the very least or get the pistol to them to have it gone over properly. Those pins have multiple diameters (not tapered, though).

I gotta go with Skip on this one, pennsy. If he told me I have to send my gun back to Ruger, I'd do it without thinking twice about it.
