What did you do to your LCP today 2013?

Thanks for the reply. I think I might go ahead and polish, just sounds like fun. Show my LCP a little love. Cloth buffing wheel on my dremel, what kind of polish would be best? I would think nothing too abrasive.

I would say most people here use Flitz. I started with Blue Magic them used the compounds that came with my polishing set up.

Took my brand-new Elsie to the range and ran 100+ rounds of WWB through her. No FTE's, FTF's or any other problems noted. Flawless operation probably due to tips found on this site concerning polishing feed ramp, painting front sight and "exercising" slide a couple of hundred times prior to live firing. Added Hogue grip which made gun a pleasure to hold. Accuracy was better than I expected, Love this gun!

Added Hogue Hybrid Grip and put 100 rds down range.

Took my new Elsie to the range and ran 100+ WWB rounds. No FTE's, FTF's or any problems what so ever. Attribute the performance to tips I found on this site; polished feed ramp, "exercising" the slide prior to shooting and a new Hogue grip which makes the gun feel "just right".

...I polished my LCP barrel and am quite satisfied with the results. Use jeweler's rouge with your Dremel...they sell it as an accessory. It's very kind to the metal and predictable as you carefully remove the bluing.

Fired 42 more rounds of Blazer Brass, for total around 265.

My Crimson Trace blinked out worse than the 2 times past. I will open it up, inspect, and clean contacts. If it is not reliable next time out, I will seek warranty service.
