Going to CCDW class next weekend!

Pretty excited, gotta do six hours class time, two hours range. Got hit a traget 11 out of 20 times at 7 yards to qualify. Not taking elsie though, as I haven't shot it enough yet. Gonna take my XDm 45 as it's my only other gun and I have a lot of practice with it. The elsie will be the one I carry everday, since I'm a small skinny dude and that 45 is too heavy and obvious for me to carry. Already picked up a superfly from midwest-tactical, love it. Anyway, I will update yall after class.

Open carry w/o permit is legal in WA as well. The only thing we need a CPL for is concealed... and no mundane class to sit through.

Enjoy the class. Be sure to ask lots of questions. I am sure you will do just fine on the range portion.

And from what I understand the Ky permit covers any deadly weapon, but I don't think I'm gonna be stocking up on brass knuckles and ninja stars anytime soon.

Have fun. Excellent choice of weapon.... one that you're familiar with. A great opportunity to get some in depth information on what the Use of Force Laws are for your State. Great stuff to know about.

Good luck at your class, I'm sure you will do just fine. Taking the gun you have more range time with is definitely the way to to.
